Wangari Maathai, Nobel peace prize winner, dies at 71
Wangari Maathai the first African woman to win the Nobel peace prize died on Sunday night of cancer. She was 71.
She was a towering figure in our country Kenya. Maathai was renowned as a fearless social activist and an environmental crusader.

Hey'
How are you we think you are fine as we are.
We are grateful because we are members of rafiki link club which you are too.It has encouraged us to know many things that we were never aware of like using intenet and we have also made friends with you.
We just had exams last week and we are all happy about the results.Our end of term exams are in late next month then we close for holidays on 28th July for one month.
When does your school have exams?
From Maai Mahiu primary students: Peris,Margaret,Josphat,Martha,Hanah and Derrick.

We were so excited with the videos from Dr. Rose B. English School that we had commented on. We enjoyed watching the videos and we always watch them whenever we have rafiki link club day and we also have ours coming up soon,so be on the look out!
